About the YAS app

We want to motivate you to live a healthy life and reward your efforts. Your YAS app is the collection point for your daily exercise. We motivate you to do more for yourself. With the help of your fitness tracker or a fitness app, you can synchronize your sporting successes with the YAS app and turn them into attractive rewards. In addition, we offer you exciting challenges with attractive chances of winning in the YAS app. The most diverse sporting challenges await you. If you successfully complete the challenge, you can take part in a raffle with additional attractive prizes. We wish you much joy and success!

About this document and YAS.life

These Terms of Service and Conditions of Participation apply to the YAS app (hereinafter referred to as the “app”). This offer is operated by MAGNUM EST Digital Health GmbH (hereinafter referred to as YAS.life or “we”).

YAS.life operates digital bonus systems that motivate health-conscious behavior. In addition to the freely available YAS app, YAS.life also provides white label versions for corporate customers. The following terms of use apply to the use of the app and the related mobile website.

Support and customer service

Our customer service can be reached at the following email address: support@yas.com. Alternatively, contact can also be made via the “Contact us” button in the app. We usually respond to messages within one day. If contact is made on weekends or holidays, we will respond chronologically on the next possible business day.

Information on general app usage

To use the app effectively, it is necessary to sync the fitness app or the fitness tracker app. In addition, sports activities can also be added manually in the app.
We are constantly expanding the range of fitness trackers and apps that can be connected to the app. If we integrate new systems, we will inform about this in time in the FAQs of the app or in the app itself.
The synchronization of data between fitness tracker/app and our app may take some time in individual cases. In addition, we at YAS.life do not accept any responsibility for synchronization problems on the part of our partners. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee the transfer of data in the event of technical faults.

The points collected – through steps, manually entered activities and challenges – can be converted into rewards at any time: provided that the points account offers enough points for the desired reward.

Information about the points system

If you have brought movement into your everyday life, you can be rewarded for it. This requires synchronizing the data from the fitness tracker or app. We convert the activity performed into points. According to this system, you can collect points:

  • We reward daily number of steps:
    • 5,000 steps per day → 5 points
    • 10,000 steps per day → 10 points
    • 15,000 steps per day → 15 points
    • 20,000 steps per day → 20 points
    • 25,000 steps per day → 25 points
  • You can also earn points for sports activities (e.g. cycling, swimming or even jogging). If you sync a tracker with the app, active minutes registered via the tracker are converted into points in the app.
    “Active minutes” include any activity, i.e. any sporting activity. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that activities are always unconditionally synchronized with the app.
    • from 20 minutes a day → 10 points
    • from 30 minutes a day → 15 points
  • If there is no tracker or the performed activity was not detected, it is also possible to enter the activity manually in the app (via the “+” in the dashboard). Only one activity per day is rewarded with points. Any more activity is, of course, great and will also be included.
    • per activity/day → 5 points
    • from 5 minutes Meditation during the day → 5 points
  • We also award extra points for successfully passing challenges. The number varies depending on the challenge type. How many extra points can be earned with a successfully passed challenge is stated in the challenge details.

Tip: The steps taken during the workout are added to the daily steps and are also rewarded. So it pays off twice!

A maximum of 25 points can be achieved per day. However, activities beyond that are still worthwhile, of course.
You get points when you move, but of course no points are lost by inactivity. On the contrary, the collected points will not expire, no matter how long you save or how many you have already collected.

Information about the rewards

Once enough points have been collected for the desired reward, simply click on “Redeem now” for the corresponding reward in the reward store in the app. We will then send you the appropriate voucher code by e-mail. Therefore, it is important to provide a valid e-mail address. If no email arrives, it is advisable to take a look in the spam folder. To prevent this, our address can be marked as a known sender.

The voucher code sent by e-mail can now be redeemed at the respective reward partner. Even though we have international partners, the coupon codes are only valid at their German locations and online stores for the time being. Shipping abroad is excluded so far. Furthermore, voucher codes are not paid out in the form of cash. Because we want to put together an exciting portfolio of rewards at all times, we may offer some rewards on a limited basis only. We may also remove rewards from the portfolio after a certain term. However, we announce all cases in the reward details so that the points can still be redeemed in time, if desired.

Until when the coupon codes can be redeemed at our partners depends on whether our partners have set a deadline. We provide information on this directly in the app in the respective reward details. Please note that the voucher codes are not transferable and only one code can be redeemed per order. Whether the codes can be combined with other promotions of our partners depends on the terms of our partners. Further information on this can also be found in the respective reward details.
If you have any questions or comments about the app’s reward offer, we will be happy to help you via the “Contact us” button in the app or by mail.

If there are any questions regarding the direct redemption of the voucher code or defects/deficiencies are found in a product, please contact the partner. Likewise, the respective terms and conditions of our partners apply to the right of withdrawal. Companies often offer sample cancellation forms for download on their websites. In general, we assume no liability for the content of external links, for the prices and for the rewards and services of our partners. Here too, good service is our top priority. If you can’t get through to our partners, we’ll be happy to help.

In the event of revocation, the redeemed points used for the reward will be forfeited. We do not offer a generalized solution for crediting points. But in special cases an exception is possible.

In addition, we are constantly working to expand our reward portfolio. We hope that we meet every taste! If you have any ideas or suggestions for new reward partners, we are always happy to receive a message via the “Contact us” button in the app or by mail.

Information about the challenges

We regularly offer challenges within the app. Participation in this is voluntary and is intended to motivate more movement and activity. By participating in the challenge, the Terms of Use are accepted.

Details and operation

To successfully participate in the challenge, it is first necessary to sync a tracker or fitness app with our app. This is the only way to capture activity data. The synchronization of the data with a tracker or fitness app should be done at the latest shortly before the end of the challenge. We cannot guarantee that the data will still be added to the challenge target when synchronized after the challenge.

Each challenge takes place in a given period of time. It is possible to start the challenge during the whole period. The data already collected since the start of the challenge will be added to the challenge goal once the challenge is started. So: If a step challenge runs from Monday to Friday, the challenge can still be started on Friday evening. In this case, all steps taken since Monday are counted. But: A maximum of 30,000 steps per day will count towards the challenge.

For successfully completed challenges, a previously defined number of extra points is automatically credited to the points account. How many extra points a successful challenge is worth can be seen in advance in the challenge details.

We at YAS.life are always trying to come up with new and exciting challenges. Nevertheless, we ask for your understanding that there is no claim to the permanent availability of challenges.

Raffle information

Some challenges in the app take place in conjunction with raffles. Which challenge also has a raffle is listed in advance in the challenge details. In addition, we also describe there the type of raffle and what prizes there are to win. But: The prices can differ in color and equipment from the representation in the app.
Important: Prerequisite for participation in a raffle is the successful completion of the Challenge.

Participation in a raffle is absolutely voluntary and does not happen automatically. If you want to participate, it is necessary to enter your e-mail address in the field provided after the challenge within one day.

We will randomly draw one or more email addresses from all participants. Whoever is one of the lucky winners will be contacted after the end of the challenge via the e-mail address provided. Please also check the spam folder for this. Afterwards, the contacted person has 2 days to confirm the win. For this, please reply to the email or write an email to the app support. If we do not receive any feedback, we will draw again.

Depending on the price, this is either sent by email or sent by post. A valid postal address is required for shipment by post Prizes may also be sent by third party vendors (our partners). As a result, the address will be handed over to our partner (sponsor of the challenge) for shipping.

We always try to offer new attractive raffles. Nevertheless, we ask for your understanding that there is no claim to the constant availability of raffles.

Weekly Quiz

Once a week the Weekly Quiz is available. Participation is voluntary and is intended to provide additional knowledge on topics related to sports, nutrition, sustainability and mental health. Each quiz starts on Monday and it is possible to participate once within a week until Sunday. Regardless of the correct answer of the quiz questions, the user is rewarded with extra points upon completion. A quiz that has already been completed cannot be restarted.

Challenge planning and preparation is carried out by YAS.life in consultation with the client.

Group Feature Information

The group feature allows you to compare your weekly steps with friends and colleagues to motivate each other. A minimum of two and a maximum of 50 participants can be in a group. When creating a group, it is necessary to specify a name. Subsequently, other people can be invited to the group via an invitation link.

A group challenge always starts on Mondays and always ends on Sundays, 23:59. In order to include all the steps of the week, the app should be updated by 11:59 p.m. on Sunday night, which is the only way to secure a chance to win the virtual crown.

Information on “activity statistics”

On the dashboard there is a button “activity statistics”. This provides information about the activity status you have already achieved with the steps you have collected.

The status is based on the average number of steps taken in the last 7 days and can change accordingly from week to week.

The number of steps that make up a status were determined by the health experts at YAS.life. They are based on the World Health Organization’s recommendation to take about 10,000 steps a day.

Activity in comparison

In order to better assess our own performance, we compare the individual number of steps with the aggregated and thus anonymized number of steps of all active users in the last 30 days.

General conditions of participation

All questions and comments regarding terms and conditions and raffles can be sent by email to the app’s support or via the “Contact us” button in the app.

Use of the app

  1. A mobile device is required to participate in the app offer. The use of the app is free of charge.
  2. Use is permitted from the age of 16.
  3. To redeem the rewards, a residence in Germany is required.
  4. With regard to health requirements, the following applies: The app offer is used exclusively at the user’s own risk. The services and information offered by the app do not in any way constitute medical or doctor’s advice.
  5. We exclude from our rewards program anyone who uses unauthorized aids or otherwise gains advantage through manipulation.

Participation in raffles

  1. This includes the conditions of participation for app use.
  2. Participation is open to all natural persons who have reached the age of 18 at the time of registration and are permanent residents of the Federal Republic of Germany.
  3. Employees of MAGNUM EST Digital Health GmbH and other persons involved in the conception and implementation of the app, as well as their relatives, are excluded from participation in the raffles within the scope of challenges.
  4. We exclude all persons from the prize draw who use unauthorized aids or otherwise obtain advantages through manipulation.
  5. Cash payment, payment in kind or exchange of winnings is not possible. The legal process is excluded.
  6. The prize will be sent by YAS.life or the sponsor of the prize, depending on the type of raffle. The address of the winning party will be used solely for this purpose.
  7. We do not assume any liability for the transport. Unfortunately, there is no replacement in the event of damage or loss in the post.
  8. YAS.life is not liable for damages resulting from the impairment of the availability of the raffle Internet site, in the event of technical malfunctions beyond its control and events of force majeure as well as attacks by third parties against the site.
  9. YAS.life grants the data protection legal standard within the scope of all raffles and observes all relevant legal regulations. YAS.life stores the personal data of the participants exclusively for the purpose of the raffle. Address data will only be collected from the winners and will only be used to send the prize. The participants hereby expressly declare their consent to the storage and use of the personal data provided for the above-mentioned purpose. The participation data will not be passed on to third parties beyond this.

Instagram or Facebook is not responsible for any content published as part of such promotions. The recipient of the information you provide is solely YAS.life.
  2. All natural persons who have reached the age of 18 and are permanently resident in the Federal Republic of Germany at the time of registration are eligible to participate.
  3. Employees of YAS.life are excluded from participation. Likewise, sweepstakes associations and automated sweepstakes services are excluded from participation. Commercial participation or participation arranged by third parties is also not permitted.
  4. Cash payment, payment in kind or exchange of winnings is not possible. The legal process is excluded.
