We integrate the fonts (“Google Fonts”) of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

We need this service to ensure the display of the fonts on our website.

When you visit our site, your browser loads the required web fonts directly from a Google server into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly. This transmits to the server which of our web pages you have visited. The IP address of the browser of the end device of the visitor to these Internet pages is also stored by Google. If your browser does not support web fonts, a standard font from your computer will be used.

You can find more information about Google Web Fonts at https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google’s privacy policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/. You have the right to access and object to your data stored by us at any time.

The “Google Tag Manager” service is used on this website.

Through this tool, “website tags” (i.e. keywords that are integrated into HTML elements) can be implemented and managed via an interface. The tool also triggers other tags that may collect data from you. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If you have deactivated a tag at domain or cookie level, this will remain in effect for all tracking tags that are implemented with Google Tag Manager.

The Tag Manager itself does not process any personal data, as it is purely used for the administration of other services – e.g. Google Analytics, etc. -.
Further information on the Tag Manager can be found at: https://www.google.com/intl/de/tagmanager/use-policy/

Google Ads

We have integrated Google Ads on this website.

The operating company of the Google Ads services is Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, USA.

The purpose of Google Ads is to advertise our website by displaying interest-relevant advertising on the websites of third-party companies and in the search engine results of the Google search engine and to display third-party advertising on our website.

User data is processed pseudonymously within the Google advertising network. This means that Google does not store and process the name or email address of the user, for example, but processes the relevant data on a cookie basis within pseudonymous user profiles. This means that from Google’s perspective, the ads are not managed and displayed for a specifically identified person, but for the cookie holder, regardless of who this cookie holder is. This does not apply if a user has expressly allowed Google to process the data without this pseudonymisation. The information collected about users is transmitted to Google and stored on Google’s servers in the USA.

For more information about Google’s use of data, settings and opt-out options, please see Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads) and the settings for the display of advertisements by Google (https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated).

Furthermore, the cookie is used to avoid multiple displays of the same advertisement.

The cookies used do not contain any personal data. Rather, the cookies are used to serve ads across websites by enabling Google to identify the pages visited. The information generated by the cookies is transferred by Google to a server in the USA for analysis and stored there. A transfer of data by Google to third parties only takes place on the basis of legal regulations or within the framework of commissioned data processing. Under no circumstances will Google combine your data with other data collected by Google.

Facebook-Pixel, Custom Audiences and Facebook-Conversion

The so-called “Facebook pixel” of the social network Facebook is integrated within our online offer. This Facebook pixel is operated by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or if you are a resident of the EU, Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland.

Where explicit consent has been given, this allows the behaviour of users to be tracked after they have seen or clicked on a Facebook ad. This procedure is used to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and can help to optimise future advertising measures.

With the help of the Facebook pixel, it is possible for Facebook, on the one hand, to determine the visitors to our online offer as a target group for the display of advertisements (so-called “Facebook ads”). Accordingly, we use the Facebook pixel to display the Facebook ads placed by us only to those Facebook users who have also shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interests in certain topics or products determined on the basis of the websites visited) that we transmit to Facebook (so-called “Custom Audiences”). With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of the users and do not have a harassing effect. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of the Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook ad (so-called “conversion”).

The processing of the data by Facebook takes place within the framework of Facebook’s data use policy. Accordingly, general information on the display of Facebook ads, in Facebook’s data usage policy: https://www.facebook.com/policy. For specific information and details on the Facebook pixel and how it works, please visit the Facebook help section: https://www.facebook.com/business/help/651294705016616.

You can opt-out of the Facebook Pixel’s collection and use of your data to serve Facebook ads. To set which types of ads are displayed to you within Facebook, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions there on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/ads/settings. The settings are platform-independent, meaning that you will be served ads on all devices, such as desktop computers or mobile devices.

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European data protection law (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000GnywAAC&status=Active).

You can also opt out of the use of cookies for tracking and advertising purposes by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page (http://optout.networkadvertising.org/) and additionally the US website (http://www.aboutads.info/choices) or the European website (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/uk/your-ad-choices/).
